HarshaPlay
Your console. Your Mac. Press play.
Turn your Mac, iPad, or iPhone into the screen and speakers for Harsha’s console. Live capture video, game audio, and full screen — press play and go.
macOS 14+ DMG · iPhone & iPad build ready · App Store submit pending agreement · v1.1.0
How it works
From console to Mac in three steps.
01
Connect the capture path
Console HDMI into the capture device, then USB into the Mac. Keep the controller on the console.
02
Allow Camera & Microphone
macOS uses these permissions for the capture device’s video and audio — not your FaceTime camera.
03
Press Play
Pick the video and audio inputs once. HarshaPlay remembers them and aims for 1080p60 when supported.
Version 1
Open the app. Get a reliable picture with sound.
Recording, streaming, HDR, and 4K stay out of scope. Latency depends on the capture card — measure with Harsha’s hardware before long sessions.
Live video
Native AVFoundation preview with aspect-fit framing, smooth resize, and full screen.
Game audio
Monitor capture audio through Mac speakers or headphones with volume and mute.
Device memory
Separate video and audio inputs, preferred formats, and volume preferences saved locally.
Recovery built in
Handles unplug/replug, sleep/wake, missing devices, and clear permission recovery steps.
Ready when the console is.
